Important Information

I had a test for Leishmaniasis that was positive but have had subsequent tests that have all come back negative.  The most recent negative test result was very recent and just two months ago.  I really am quite a catch and have so much love to give!

Hi, I’m Lola! 🐾💕

Yep, that Lola — professional cuddler, part-time goofball, full-time ball chaser, and proud pocket pointer (I’m smaller than your average pointer, but I’ve got just as much zest!). Let me tell you a bit about myself, in my own words — because if you’re reading this, you might be my person.

I’m currently living my best foster life in beautiful Bristol with my amazing foster dad, James. I even go to work with him (I know, I’m basically the Employee of the Month, every month). I love being with my hoomans. In fact, being alone isn’t really my thing — I much prefer to be by your side, or ideally, across your shoulders like a fluffy little neck wrap. Yes, I actually do that. You’re welcome.

✨ My favourite things include:

• Running like the wind on a long lead (catch me if you can!)
• Playing with my ball in the garden like a happy, zoomy nutter
• Cuddles on the sofa — I’m a top tier snuggler
• Intently watching passing wildlife from behind a window and pointing like a true pointer pro
• Resting my head gently on James’ shoulder in the car — yep, even from the back seat. I just like to be close 🥹

I’m super affectionate and full of beans. I’m silly, fun, and always up for an adventure, but I also know how to settle at night and be a little angel. I’ve got a lot of love to give, and I’m looking for someone special who’s around most of the time — someone I can love back just as much as they love me.

💡 A few things to keep in mind:

• I’m better as an only dog — I like my hoomans all to myself.
• I can be a bit reactive to other dogs when I’m on lead, but in a safe, open space off-lead, I’m playful, silly, and can make friends!  I am a 50/50 kinda gal… some dogs I am great with on the lead and others I just feel unsafe with.
• Crates and dog guards? No thank you, they make me nervous. But I’m a fantastic passenger and love a car ride.
• I’ve got energy to burn, so let’s run, play, and chase balls together!
• I’m not made for long days alone — I’m a people pup, through and through.

Now, here’s the quirky bit (and a really lovely idea): James, my foster dad, loves me so much that he’s open to something a little different — a Pointer Pup Share. ❤️

He’s willing to travel (up to quite a few miles!) to make sure I live the most enriching, fun-filled life possible. If you’re someone loving, active, and open to sharing me with my dear foster dad, I could have two amazing homes filled with love, cuddles, and new experiences. It’s not typical, but neither am I — I’m one in a million, and so is this arrangement.

I have been looked after
