About Max
Max has come over from Corfu. This is the Corfu foster mum’s report:- Max is happy and friendly with other dogs and cats. He shows no aggression accept over food. We cannot give treats to the pack with Max around as he cannot cope with the others being given good in front of him. He eats alone and very fast so we water his food down to help. He is not food aggressive with humans. During the day he runs with the pack but he is not so good on etiquette so has been put in his place a few times. He has no idea of human etiquette either so needs training, he’s clever and quick to learn – he just needs more time and one to one attention. He latched onto my husband and doesn’t really acknowledge me often, tho he will come cuddle if my husbands not about. He is definitely a man’s dog tho. He’s out with the pack all day and we come and go as we chose but evenings are a problem. He doesn’t like the dusk and needs to come indoors to warm up and feel safe. He loves his cuddles on the sofa.
He is now in the UK and is enjoying life on the settee and running with the other dogs in a secure field. He looks for ways out of the secure field but is getting better the more he settles. He will need a secure garden.
