About Toby

Toby is 3 and half years old. He is from Corfu and will be fostered in Reading from early November.

From Corfu Foster Mum:-    Toby was abandoned in a paper sack as a newborn, left outside a vet’s office in Corfu. He managed to survive along with two of his 6 liter mates. Several British women bottle fed him every 2 hours and gave him so much love. As a result, he is one of the sweetest dogs that I have ever had. We got him when he was 7 weeks old and he loved sleeping at night wrapped around my husband’s neck in bed. He eventually outgrew that, but continues to be such a snuggle bunny. He is very smart and funny and so very loving. He is simply a great dog. He gets so excited when he meets new people, and I have tried to get him to stop him jumping up. The best I’ve been able to do is to get him to jump next to someone rather than on them. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He loves to walk on the beach and hike off leash. He loves to play with other dogs. He likes to go in the sea. And he loves to chase birds, when they are flying low above the dunes. Unfortunately, he chases cats and chickens, so he would do better without them. My husband died in June and I have been looking for a home for him ever since. I have sold my house in Corfu and once the movers come to move my things to California, he won’t be able to stay there anymore.
