Beryl’s daughters, Gina and Holly, were there today to receive this prestigious honor. We want to say a huge thank you to Gina and Holly for being there to collect the award on Beryl’s behalf; having been affected by her involvement with dogs all their lives, it was a truly special moment to have them there representing her.

1973: Beryl proposes the Rescue Scheme.

1979: Becomes a registered charity.

Today: We continue to rescue Pointers from all over Europe and the UK.

Beryl remained the heart of this charity for her entire life. Even as she gradually stepped back from the day-to-day intensity in later years, she remained active and devoted to the welfare of Pointers until her passing.

One of the photos below shows a wonderful memory of Beryl judging the “Best Rescue” when the charity celebrated its 40th anniversary. It’s a reminder of her lifelong passion.

Beryl’s vision was built on the belief that every Pointer deserves a “good home,” and we are more committed than ever to making that a reality in her memory.

We are incredibly proud of everything she achieved and so grateful for this recognition.
