🐾 Tom & Sam — Two Voices, One Heart, Forever Together 🐾

Tom here…
Hi. I’m Tom. I’m the quieter one. I like to think before I leap. If I’m unsure, I might wander a little, or find a wall to sit near while I work things out. I don’t rush — but I do get there. And when I trust you? Oh… I’m all about gentle nuzzles, leaning in close, and staying right by your side. I’m learning every day that the world can be kind, and every time nothing bad happens, I grow a little braver.

Sam jumping in!
And I’m Sam! I’m the one you’ll notice first. If I’m worried, you’ll know — I might crouch or look a bit scared — but I’m also the one who comes forward first, ready to say hello once I feel safe. I LOVE cuddles. Like, truly love them. If I could sit on your lap, I absolutely would. I’ve also got this thing… apparently I smile. Like a real smile. My lips curl up and my whole bum does this wiggly dance when I see people I trust. It’s kind of my trademark 😄

Together, we’re silly, smoochy, affectionate boys — but it takes a little patience for that to shine. Give us space. Let us come to you. Be gentle and kind. And we promise, we’ll meet you halfway… then run the rest of the way straight into your heart.

🌍 Our Story (told together)

We’re brothers, just over a year old, and we’ve never been apart — not once. We were born in a place no puppy should ever know: a cold, noisy government shelter in Greece. It was scary… but we had our mum, Kardy. She was everything. She wrapped herself around us, protected us, loved us fiercely, and made that hard place feel survivable.

Then one day, hope arrived — but it was confusing. Our mum had a chance to leave first. We didn’t understand why she had to go without us. We cried for her. We waited.

But we were never forgotten.

The wonderful hoomans at Ethos Pet Shelter (Auntie Liz and Eleni especially!) kept checking on us, cuddling us, watching over us, and telling Pointer Rescue Service (PRS) how we were doing. A plan was made. And then… Liz came. She told us we were going somewhere safe.

Now guess what?
We made it to the UK.
We’re finally reunited with our mum, Kardy.
And thanks to the incredible Susan, we’re being fostered in her rural home in Somerset — a place with fresh air, space to breathe, and pockets full of treats (Susan’s pockets are legendary!)

We’ve never had a real home of our own. No toys that were just ours. No soft beds that didn’t smell of fear. But now we’re dreaming… of gardens, of calm days, of humans who understand that love sometimes grows quietly.

Life Lessons & Little Wins

We love people — truly. New folks might get a squeak or a worried growl at first, but if they ignore us and give us space? We settle fast.
We’re brilliant around other dogs. Sam is playful and confident; Tom takes comfort from confident canine friends (especially ones like his brother).
Our recall around the farm is fantastic — sheep, horses, wide open spaces? No problem!
Lead walks are going really well. If we get unsure, we might crouch… but with patience and no pressure, we keep going.
We’re not reactive — we’re just sensitive souls who need to know we’re safe and allowed to step back when we need to.

We’ve been guided and adored by a very special trio — Susan, Emma, and Claire — with Auntie Emma being our very own dog whisperer. She brings her dog Red along on walks to show us the way (best sniffs, safest routes, proper “lay of the land” stuff). Emma says that if she didn’t already have her own dogs, she’d scoop us up in a heartbeat. That made our tails wag extra hard.

We are even good with sheep and horses too!  Susan has horses and pet sheep and we all hang out together sometimes…

Oh! And there’s our special song.
🎶 “Sammy get your wriggle bottom on…”*🎶
It’s kind of famous now. Just saying.

🏡 Our Dream Home

We’re looking for something special:

A calm, kind home with a safe space where we can learn, decompress, and thrive
Hoomans who understand that confidence grows with patience
Maybe also, a confident dog friend (Tom would love that!)
And most importantly… a home where we can stay together

We are bonded. We sleep curled up together. We explore together. We survived together. We are each other’s courage and comfort. Please don’t ask us to be apart — our hearts come as a pair.

💛 A Little Question From Us…

If you’re reading this and your chest feels warm…
If you smiled at the thought of a wiggly, smiling boy and his shy, snuggly brother…
If you believe that gentle souls deserve gentle homes…

Maybe you’re our pawson.
Maybe you’re the one who’ll say, Yes. Tom and Sam. Come home.
(And hey — we might even try to learn your version of our song.)

We promise you a love that’s soft, sincere, and deeply grateful.
The kind that only comes from dogs who know what it means to wait… and hope.

With all our love and waggy tails,
Tom & Sam
Forever a pair. Furever hopeful.
