💙 Branston: The Sweet, Happy Lad Seeking a Final Soft Landing

Hi, my name is Branston. I’m a sweet, resilient boy who has been described as an “old soul.” I spent a long time looking after my best friend, Pickle, while we survived in the wild, but my foster family tells me it’s finally time for me to “step down” and let someone look after me for a change.

I am a total social butterfly and a professional snuggler. If there is a spot on the sofa next to you, I will find it! I have not a single nasty bone in my body, and I greet every day with a wagging tail and a hopeful heart.

💔 My Story So Far…

My journey began when I was found painfully thin in the Spanish campo (countryside) alongside my best friend, Pickle. We supported each other through the hardest times until we were rescued by an amazing team in Spain.

I thought I had found my “happy ever after” in the UK, but due to a heartbreaking change in my family’s personal circumstances, I am back in search of a home. I am currently staying with an amazing emergency foster mom, Carol, where I’m learning what it’s like to be a cherished pet.

🏡 What I Need to Thrive

I am a very easy-going sweetheart, but I do have some specific needs to make sure my next move is my last:

* The “Chutney” Connection: I am very bonded to my best friend, Pickle. We would love nothing more than to stay together. However, we know a pair is a big ask. For the right home with another resident dog to keep me company and show me the ropes, we are open to placing us separately.

* A Patient Teacher: I am a clever lad and house-trained (I’ll even whimper to tell you I need to go out!), but I need a family patient enough to keep up with my training and help me get brave about getting into the car/van.

* Play & Rest: I love a good “doggy social” and running in secure fields, but I also value my beauty sleep. I’m looking for a stable, warm environment where the meals are regular and the cuddles are endless.

I promise to be the most loyal, affectionate companion you could ever ask for. Will you be the one to give this “old soul” the stability he deserves?
