Hey there, I’m Cooper! You might remember my face – I was rescued from a really scary, stressful pound near Cordoba alongside my best friend, Zoe. We’ve been safe at a lovely residence in Spain for nine months now, and while I’m still a bit of a shy guy, the volunteers say I am doing so well!

I am definitely the braver of the two of us. Lately, I’ve been letting my true, playful personality slip out. When the volunteers visit me and use silly voices, I get so excited that I do little happy “twirls” for them! Once I know you, I absolutely love affection. I will push my big body right against you, leaning in for comfort and begging for scratches behind my ears.

My Dream Home Checklist ✅

Canine Sisters Only: I do wonderfully with female dogs! I’ve been sharing my space with a happy little girl companion recently, and she has really helped me relax. However, I can get a bit territorial around other boys, so I need to be your only dog or live with a friendly female. (The volunteers think this might just be shelter stress that will fade with time, but safety comes first!)

A Safe, Quiet Space: The big world still makes me nervous. I’m still a little  uncomfortable with collars and leads. I will need a highly secure, escape-proof garden where I can stretch my legs without the pressure of outside walks right away.

🏡My Homing Options: Because Zoe and I have been through so much together, staying together would be a dream come true if there’s an extraordinary home out there for us. But we know that’s a massive ask! The team is fully supporting us finding separate homes, as long as I have a confident dog friend to show me the ropes.
