Archer and Austin

Hello… we’re Archer and Austin.

We’re only two years old, but sometimes it feels like we’ve lived a very long life already. We came into the shelter scared, confused, and holding on tightly to each other because we didn’t understand what was happening. Our pet passports say we came from Ireland… and the humans here think maybe from a puppy farm. We don’t really know. We just know we were taken away from everything familiar, brought across the sea, and somehow ended up abandoned — alone and unsure if we were going to be okay.

But we want to believe in hope. We really do.

We want to believe in you.

💛 We’re not asking for much… just safety, kindness, and patience.

We are two soft, sad souls who have never truly known what it feels like to have a gentle hand that stays, a voice that doesn’t shout, or a home where we are allowed to feel safe. We’re shy at first — the world has been confusing and unkind to us — but underneath the fear, there’s love waiting to bloom.

We dream of a quieter home, somewhere calm, with people who understand that trust takes time but is worth every moment. We don’t want to be let down again. We can’t bear it.

Together or apart — we just want a chance.

We lean on each other because we’ve had no one else. But the lovely humans say with time and the right home, we could go separately too. Whether together or apart, what matters most is finding somewhere safe… somewhere forever… or even a foster home where we can finally breathe and start healing.

⏳ Our future is uncertain… and we’re scared.

Shelters are full. Dogs like us — quiet, nervous, forgotten — get overlooked. But we’re here, whispering our little story, hoping someone’s heart hears it.

We’re only two. We have our whole lives ahead of us if someone will just give us the chance to finally feel happiness, warmth, and love.
