Hi, I’m Gitana — and this is my story, told straight from the heart.

I didn’t end up in the pound alone.

I was thrown away *with* my best friend, Pinta — like old shoes left on the side of the road. After years of trying our best to be loyal, loving hunting dogs, we were dumped without a second glance. Our reward for devotion? A cold kennel, a concrete floor, and the deafening silence of being forgotten.

But then… PRS stepped in.

They saw us. Really *saw* us.

Now, Pinta and I are safe. She’s finding her way, and I’m hoping *my* new chapter begins with you.

I’m not just a dog. I’m a heart that still believes in hoomans. I’m a tail that wags even after heartbreak. I’m a soul that’s been bruised but never broken.

I’m dreaming of a family who’ll see me as more than what I was used for. A soft bed would be lovely, but what I really want is kindness. Someone who speaks gently. Hands that give affection instead of orders. Walks where we stroll, sniff, and watch the world go by together. Maybe even some adventures—I’ve got a curious spirit, and I’d love to discover what love *really* feels like.

I’ll admit, I’m a little shy at first. Trust isn’t something I give away easily anymore. But if you’re patient and kind, I promise I’ll be the most loyal, affectionate, grateful companion you’ve ever known.

Oh, and just a quick heads-up:

Look, I’ve tried to get along with them… okay, that’s a lie.

They just make me twitchy. Something about the way they slink around like mysterious little ninjas doesn’t sit right with me. So I’d prefer a cat-free home—one less mystery to solve, right?
