Hello, my name is Konsul.

I’m a smaller German Shorthaired Pointer, just 19kg, but my heart is much bigger than my size. All I’ve ever wanted is to be close to my family, to share my love and loyalty with them, and to make them proud of me. I’m housetrained, gentle, and friendly—I’ve always tried my best to be a good boy.

My family here in Rhodes love me very much. They didn’t want to let me go, but life has made it too hard for them to keep me. They are heartbroken, and I can feel it, too. I know something is different in our home; I see it in their eyes, and it makes me a little anxious. I don’t really understand what’s happening, but I’m trying to be brave. They tell me this is because they want the very best future for me.  That they love me very much and always will…

While I wait with them in Rhodes, a kind lady called Lorna—my rescue angel—comes to visit me. She talks to me softly and helps me feel safe. She will be the one to guide me when it’s time to leave my family behind and make the journey to the UK.

They say the weather there might be colder, but they also tell me the hearts waiting for me are warmer than I could ever imagine. That gives me hope. I dream of a forever family who will open their home and love me, not just for now, but always. Somewhere I will belong, where I will never have to say goodbye again.

I am ready to give all of my love, my loyalty, and my joy to the people who choose me. I don’t need much—just kindness, patience, and a place in your heart.
