I’m Louie: The Bouncing Boy with a Heart of Gold!

Hi, my name is Louie… I’m bouncy right… and totally ready for my furever home!
My story starts just like my good friend Butler’s- you know, the handsome fellow who used to be number 39? Well, I was right there with him, sharing a tiny, dark two-metre square kennel in the Toledo Perrera in Spain. Our world was terrifying. Butler has found his furever home now with the lovely Kristie and Matt, and I’d love to find mine too!  (He even sent me a little postcard)

Embracing Life in the Real World 🥰
When I was trapped in those four walls, I was so worried and upset that I struggled with my own anxiety. Now that I’m safe, I’m focused on being happy and finding my family! I am a beautiful natured dog who is just taking life by the horns.

The volunteers have taken me out on a couple of trips recently, and I just love meeting all these lovely dog lovers! I went to shops, the cafe (where the lovely owner completely fell for me!), and even the vets. I was brilliant in the car and basically had a wonderful time – my tail wagging non-stop… like a little helicopter! I’m guessing I’d never really been exposed to the real world before, and I can’t get enough of it.

I show you how much I need to be loved by wanting to cling to you and never let you go! The volunteers here call me a bouncy bundle of joy because I just can’t contain my excitement and love. I’ve shown absolutely no naughty sides – I just want to be loved and in return, I promise to give someone endless happiness and laughter!
Super Smart and Ready to Learn

The team thinks I might be a Pointerdor (Pointer mixed with Labrador), and I definitely have the intelligence and eagerness of both! I am really clever and will be so trainable.
* I am super smart—my volunteer had me sitting nicely for a treat in no time and coming back to her quickly. If you enjoy training, I do too!
* I am very quick to learn – I was sitting on command within minutes!
* I’m great on my lead.
* I’m super sociable with other dogs. I shared my kennel with Butler, then with a lovely girl named Ella, and now I’m making friends with Angus. I’d be thrilled to share my new home with another dog if you have one.  I am sooo cool to hang out with…

What I Need to Be Happy
What I need most is a place to be me! I dream of an active family who loves to play and a secure garden where I can finally let loose and do those amazing zoomies to my heart’s content. I just need a loving owner who doesn’t mind putting in a bit of work on my basic training.

I recently charmed all the volunteers at the Noah’s charity shop? I’m settling in so well, but my heart is set on my very own furever family. I really deserve this.

My passport is ready, I’ve had all my vaccinations, and I’m neutered. I’m waiting to find the family I’ve been dreaming of, a family that will fill my future with love instead of fear.
