Hi there, I’m Sweet and Fun Nancy 🐾

– A little soul with a big heart… and some wonderful news to share!

If you’re reading this, thank you. It means someone, somewhere, still believes in second chances — and I’m living proof that they exist. I’m just seven months old – still a baby, really – and I’ve already been through more than most pups should ever have to face. But today, I’ve got a story with hope at the heart of it.

You see, not long ago, I was just another scared soul in a shelter — confused, vulnerable, and waiting for someone to notice me. My early days were tough: I was abandoned as a puppy with no explanation and I hadn’t even done a single thing wrong.  My team has always said that there have been give away signs that I used to live in a home. I was gentle, friendly, and full of love, but the world hadn’t been too kind to me.  I was picked up by some scary government workers and they took me to a bad shelter just before Pointer Rescue has agreed to take me on as their case so they had to track me down and get me to a safer place.

But then… something amazing happened.

I’ve been welcomed to the UK — yes, the UK! — and I’m now being fostered by the most incredible humans: Auntie Julie and Uncle Paul. They opened their hearts and home to me, and I can’t tell you how good it feels to finally be safe, warm, and loved.

I still dream about finding my forever home — the one that’s mine for good — but now I’m getting to learn what love really looks like, what a soft bed feels like, and how it feels to have people who truly care. I’ve also been told I’m a delight to have around: calm, friendly, sweet with other dogs, and just full of heart.

So, while July did turn out to be my lucky month, I know the best chapter is still ahead: the day someone says,
“That’s her. That’s our girl.”
