Meet Saskia

Hi, I’m Saskia – your new loyal, loving, and super playful cheeky little friend!

Oh hello there, lovely people. Can I wag my tail at you for a second? Because I think you should know something really important: I’m a true survivor who has a huge heart just bursting with love, and I can’t wait to share it all with you.

I’m a young pointer cross, born on November 13, 2024, which makes me just 10 months old! That means I have the playful energy of a puppy and the growing elegance of a true lady, all rolled into one. I may have had a terrifying start to life – a tiny, scared puppy on a busy motorway but thanks to one kind soul, my life has been a whirlwind of love ever since. Now, I’m a medium sized ball of playfulness and affection.

Every single day, my confidence grows, and my tail wags are a testament to my resilient spirit. I adore people (yes, that means you!) and I’m equally smitten with other dogs. My days at Merlins Haven are filled with the joyful pitter patter of paws and the playful chase of toys. I love nothing more than to follow my favourite volunteers around, a shadow of pure devotion, soaking up every bit of love and attention I can get.  You can never get enough cuddles … right…

The volunteers at Merlins Haven are head-over-heels and they admit I have everyone here eating right out of my hand (or paw!). They say I’m a sweetheart who deserves a loving home where I’ll never have to feel alone in the middle of a busy road again. They also think I’d be wonderful living with children!

I’m an absolute gem. I’m playful. I’m affectionate. I’m loyal. And I’m ready to give all my puppy wiggles and wags to the family that needs me most. Do you have a spot for me on your couch?
