🇬🇷 Tutte: The Sweet Soul Rescued from the Darker Side of Skopelos 💙

Hi, my name is Tutte, and I’m a very sweet and very good English Pointer boy. I’m approximately 3 years old, and I came all the way from the beautiful, but sometimes difficult, Greek island of Skopelos.

While you might know Skopelos from the joy and music of Mamma Mia, my life was far from a dance on the beach. My story highlights the darker reality that exists beneath the island’s famous scenery.

💔 My Story So Far…

For a long time, my life was lived on a chain. I was alone, constantly barking out of loneliness, and I was often desperately hungry and thirsty. My wonderful rescuer, Filukka, found me in this sad situation. She started visiting to bring me food and water.

Recognising that I needed to escape this life, Filukka was determined to save me. She secured my release, and together we went straight to the vet. I was immediately given everything I needed for a new start.

✨ The Real Me: A Cuddle-Loving Companion

I have been in temporary foster care for three wonderful months, and I am thriving! I have discovered that I am a very playful boy who loves cuddles more than anything. Because I was alone for so long, I want to be close to my humans all the time. I adore snuggling on the sofa and would love to be allowed to sleep in the bed with you!

• People-Orientated: I love my foster family and like all the people I meet on my daily walks. While I haven’t met young children, I am calm and gentle.

• Dog-Friendly: I am very friendly with other dogs—both small and big, male and female (all neutered).

• Cat-Considerate: I have only met the cats in my foster home on a long leash, and I am very sweet with them.

• Ready for Adventure: I am housetrained and love to go for walks, even in town and to restaurants! I also adore car rides and have even been on boats! I truly just want to go on adventures with my human family.

🏡 What I Need to Thrive

I am ready to travel to the UK immediately and start my new life  with a dedicated family.

• A Pointer Companion: Because of my playful nature, I would be happiest in a home with at least one other dog, ideally a Pointer or a similar, robust breed who understands my energy and strength.

• Time and Patience: As a former chain dog, I need a home where someone is around most of the time. It is vital that I have the time to settle before being left alone. A family with someone who works from home or who can take me to an office setting would be perfect.

• No Cages: I must never be kept in a cage when home alone. I have had enough of being restricted; I deserve freedom and comfort.

I need so much love to make up for my hard start in life. I promise to be the most loyal, sweet, and devoted companion you could ever wish for.
