Hello… I’m Fabulous First 🐾

“They named me ‘First’, but all I’ve ever wanted is to be someone’s number one.”

My journey started in a place no dog should ever be. Abandoned on the streets likely because I wasn’t made for hunting or because I was expecting puppies – I ended up in a local municipal shelter. Tragically, like my bestie Daisy, I lost my babies due to the terrible conditions there. It broke my heart, but my story didn’t end in that cold place. The dedicated rescue team stepped in, saved me, and brought me to our sanctuary in Çanakkale.

By choosing to welcome me into your life, you also open up a vital space at the sanctuary – allowing the team to rescue another vulnerable dog from the harsh reality of life as a stray in Turkey.

My Little Quirks & Daily Joy

I am a classic, high-spirited Pointer girl: full of grace, energy, and a endless capacity to love despite everything I’ve been through.

Social & Friendly: While I have my own paddock, I currently share space with a little Jack Russell friend named Jackie Oh because space is tight, and we get along like a house on fire! Out in the social area, I love running, playing, and socializing with the other dogs.

Brave & Calm: Vet visits don’t phase me at all! During my full health assessments, blood tests, and check-ups, I was completely calm and brave. The veterinary team couldn’t stop praising how sweet and cooperative I was.

Daily Sunshine: Paddocks are necessary for safety, but my happiest moments are during daily exercise time. I thrive on stretching my legs, sniffing out new scents, and soaking up every second of freedom and human interaction.

Eager Learner: Lead walking and daily exercises are part of my routine now. I haven’t lived in a home or experienced a busy town yet, but with a loving guide to show me the ropes, I am ready to learn!

An Active Companion: As a young Pointer, I’d love a home where we can enjoy daily adventures, long walks in the countryside, and games in a secure garden.

Great with Doggy Pals: I’m a total sweetheart with other dogs! I’d thrive as part of a multi-dog household or as your pampered single princess.

I’ve survived the worst, but I never lost my gentle spirit or my trust in people. Now, I’m just waiting for the day I can pack my bags, board my flight, and leap into your arms.
