❤️🐾 Danny: A Gentle, Joyful Boy Ready for Life Adventures

Hello there👋 My name is Danny. I am a handsome Pointer cross with a big, beautiful, gentle heart, and I am ready to find my very own happy ending.

My life started out a bit tough. I was only 6 months and left to fend for myself, scared, alone and looking for food to survive. I didn’t know where my mum had gone or my siblings – what was I going to do? Then an angel called Jenny where I had been wandering in her garden for months started to leave food for me – honestly without this lifeline I don’t know what would have happened to me! Jenny knew that I would need to be caught otherwise I could end up in serious harm and danger. It was a while in the making, but I was finally caught and Jenny took me into her heart and home and under her foster wing. Initially, I was feeling completely frozen with fear, but my wonderful foster doggy housemates showed me that life doesn’t have to be frightening. I spent a couple of months with Auntie Ginny with her wonderful pack and Ginny taught me how to be a very good boy……Fast forward to today, and I have completely transformed into a cheeky, cheerful, loving soul who is ready to give you my whole heart. My foster mum says I have to be one of the easiest going dogs that she’s looked after and she is totally convinced I am going to make the amazing, loveable addition to anyone’s family.

⭐️ Amazing Progress: A Pure Joy Indoors! I have bloomed into an absolute treasure around the house and am proof that with love and patience, dogs really can heal:

❤️ A Sweet Cuddle Bug: I am gentle, incredibly affectionate, and love nothing more than being close to my humans including cuddles on the sofa!

🏡 A Dream Housemate: I am fully house-trained, sleep soundly in my bed at night, and am happy snoozing around the house.

😎 Easygoing with Company: I can happily be left at home with resident dogs for several hours without any fuss.

😊 Young & Playful: At just a year old, I am athletic, fun, and full of happy energy. I love silly games, belly rubs, and playing with doggy friends.

🚗 A Fantastic Travel Buddy: I get into the car nicely and settle down well for journeys.

🧐 Super Smart: I am a quick learner who walks to heel beautifully without pulling and can even trot right alongside a bicycle!

🥰 My Relationship with Other Dogs, Cats & Animals: I adore other dogs! Having steady doggy besties was the key to unlocking my confidence, and I love living and playing with both male and female dogs. I am also great with confident cats (I even run alongside bicycles next to my bold feline foster friend!). When out on my country strolls, I’ve seen horses, sheep, and goats from a distance and don’t pay them much attention – totally unfazed.

🏡 What My Perfect “Forever” Home Looks Like: Because I had a scary start in life, heavy traffic and loud noises can still give me a bit of a wobble. To help me stay confident and relaxed, I am looking for:

🌳 A Quiet Rural or Semi-Rural Location: A peaceful home in a village or country setting away from busy town centres and heavy traffic.

🐕‍🦺 An Active Family or Couple: I am a young, energetic boy who would love an active family (with children) or an energetic couple to go on quiet country hikes and fun outdoor adventures with.

🐶 A Home with or Without Other Dogs: I thrive alongside other dogs, but because I love human affection so much, I could also do well as an only dog in the right quiet environment.

☺️ A Little Patience: Someone who understands that new places can take me a moment to digest, but who is ready to watch me blossom even further.

I am a gentle, sweet soul who never stopped believing that good things were coming. If you have a big spot on your sofa and quiet country paths nearby, I’m ready to be your very best friend.
