✨ Docker: The Pocket-Sized Pointer & Professional Snuggler

Hello there! My name is Docker. I’m a young, stunning Pointer with a silky coat, soulful eyes, and a heart that is just waiting for someone to claim it. At 16kg, I’m a “mini” version of my breed – the perfect size for a spot on the sofa or, if you’ll let me, a very cosy seat right on your lap.

I am a happy, social, and incredibly loving boy. I’m currently safe in a sanctuary shelter, and it’s done me the world of good! My ear is healing beautifully, and I’m finally putting on some healthy weight. I’m a “blank canvas,” ready to learn all about the good life with you.

🐾 Life at the Sanctuary & My Progress

Since moving to the sanctuary, I’ve been showing everyone just how much spark I have! I am friendly, social, and I get along famously with other dogs. I’m a lover, not a fighter, so I find great comfort in my furry roommates.

* My Personality: I am a “100mph” kind of lad! I do everything with total enthusiasm. Because I’m so happy to see my human friends, I can be a bit of an “excitable jumper” and a little “mouthy” to show my love, but I’m learning that good things come to those who wait calmly at the gate.

* Cat Savvy? I’ve spotted the garden cats at the sanctuary and haven’t shown any interest in them at all. I’m much more interested in my humans!

* On the Go: I’m a strong boy who can pull like a train when I’m excited to explore. I’m looking for someone who enjoys a project and is ready to do some fun training with me.

🏡 What My Dream Home Looks Like

Since I don’t have a history before the shelter, I’m looking for a family who is happy to go on an adventure of “firsts” with me. My ideal home would include:

* An Active Partner: I have plenty of energy and a real zest for life. I’d love a family who can channel my enthusiasm into being the best “good boy” I can be.

* Patience & Training: I’m still learning that I don’t need to jump to get attention. With a bit of consistency and a gentle hand, I know I’ll get there.

* A Furry Friend: I find a lot of confidence when I’m around other dogs. I would love a home with a resident dog to play with and learn from.

* A Cosy Spot: I am a true “Velcro dog” in the making. I want to be wherever you are whether that’s a long hike or tucked under a blanket.

I have so much love stored up in this 16kg body. I’m just a gorgeous, energetic lad ready to rewrite my story and show you how much I have to give.
