💙 Farah: The Gentle Soul with the ‘Perfectly Imperfect’ Nose and a Heart of Gold

Hi there, my name is Farah! I’m a beautiful German Pointer girl who is looking for a family to show me that the world is a wonderful place. I might be a big girl, but in my head, I’m a tiny lapdog who just wants to be close to you!

I’m a sensitive, lovely-natured girl who is learning to be brave, and I promise that once I know you, I will be your most devoted companion.

💔 My Story So Far…

I didn’t have the best start in life. I was found abandoned and ended up in the Cuevas Del Almanzora pound. It was a very scary place for a girl like me. Luckily, the kind people at HAA heard about me and stepped in to help.

I am now living in a wonderful foster home with Lynne and Les, who are experts at helping Pointers like me find our paws. I’m living with other dogs and even cats, and I’m doing so well! I’m finally learning what it feels like to be part of a family.

✨ The Real Me: A Gentle Lapdog

I might look like an athletic Pointer, but my favourite hobby is definitely cuddling!

• A Total Sweetheart: I have the loveliest nature. Although I can be a little nervous at first, I warm up quickly and just want to be loved.

• The “Beauty Mark” on My Nose: You might notice I have a scar right across my nose. I like to think of it as my “brave warrior stripe” or a special line where my furever family can plant their morning kisses! It just adds to my unique charm.

• A Social Butterfly: I’m currently living with other dogs and cats, and I get along with everyone. I’m a very polite girl!

• Harness Hero: I’m already learning to walk on my harness and I’m doing a great job.

🏡 What I Need to Thrive

I am looking for a patient, loving home where I can continue to grow in confidence.

• Patience and Love: Because I can be a bit shy, I need a family who will give me the time I need to settle in. I promise the wait is worth it!

• A Furry Friend or Two: I love the company of other animals, so I’d be very happy in a home with other dogs or feline friends and or meet ups to socialise with other pointers and pals.

• Pointer Power: As a Pointer, I’ll love going for nice walks once I’m settled, but I also need a big sofa (or a lap!) to curl up on afterward.

• Older Children: Because I’m a sensitive soul, I’d prefer a home with older, dog-savvy children who understand when I need a little space or a quiet cuddle.

I’ve had a bit of a rough journey, but I’m ready to leave that all behind. Will you be the one to give this “lapdog” her furever home?
