🐾 Hi there, my name is Hope… and I’m ready to be your new best friend. 🐾
If you are looking for a young lady who is bursting with life, love, and a little bit of wiggle, then I’m the girl for you! My foster mummy, Sertap, says I am a “great player” with a high-energy spirit that is simply infectious. I might have had a slow start, but I am more than making up for it now with my big heart and happy soul.
I am a sociable girl who loves to be in the middle of the action. Whether I’m playing with my foster siblings or showing off my gentle side, I’m at my happiest when I’m part of the family.
✨ My Journey & Progress
I’ve been spending my time in a wonderful foster home where I’ve been getting stronger and braver every single day.
-
A Social Butterfly: I’m a total star when it comes to making friends! I get along famously with other dogs and I’m not fazed by cats at all. I’m currently living with my foster companion, Ginger, and we make a great team.
-
Lead Legend: I’ve already mastered the art of walking on the lead. My foster mummy has videos of me strutting my stuff perfectly alongside my pals. I’m ready for all the adventures you can throw at me!
-
Gentle with Little Ones: Despite my young-dog energy, I have a very soft side. I am a gentle sweetheart with children, making me a wonderful candidate for a family home.
-
Foodie at Heart: I’ll be honest – I really love my dinner! Because I value my meals so much, I can be a little protective of my bowl, but it’s just because I’m so excited to eat. With a little bit of space at mealtimes, I’m a perfect house guest.
🏡 What I Need to Thrive
I am looking for a home that understands that I am a healthy, happy girl who just happens to have a manageable condition called Leishmaniasis.
-
Understanding & Care: I tested positive for Leish, but please don’t let that “scary” word fool you! I am absolutely fine, healthy, and full of beans. I’ve already completed my initial course of medication and I’m doing great. As a charity, we cover my medication for life, and many dogs like me stay in remission for a long, long time. I just need a family who sees me, not my diagnosis.
-
A Little Patience: Because I had to finish my treatment before starting my vaccinations, I have a tiny bit more waiting to do. I’ll be ready to travel to my forever home in about three months – just enough time for you to get my bed ready!
-
Play and Engagement: Being a young dog, I have plenty of energy to burn. I’d love a home where I can play, go for long walks, and continue learning how to be the best dog I can be.
I’ve come a long way, and I’ve proven that I’m a resilient, joyful girl who refuses to let anything define her. I have so much love to give, and I can’t wait to find the person who will give me the “forever” I’ve been waiting for.
❤️ Love and hopeful wags, Hope – Your energetic sweetheart x
