Hello… I’m Lovely Logan 🐾 (yes, that’s actually my name, and I try very hard to live up to it).

I’m four years old, which I think is the perfect age. Old enough to know my manners… young enough to still believe every day is the BEST DAY EVER.

I’ve been told I’m a “typical Pointer,” which I think means:
✨ I have springs for legs
✨ A nose that must investigate everything
✨ And a deep, important life mission… to chase things… butterflies … squirrels (purely for research purposes, of course)

I love running. Big runs. Zoomy runs. Wind-in-my-ears, ears-flapping-like-a-superhero runs. If you like the outdoors, we are already best friends. If you don’t… I can help you become someone who does.

I know my basics—sit, stay, come—and I even understand the whistle (very professional, I know). I’m also quite the social butterfly with other dogs. Playtime? Yes please. Always yes.

Now… I should tell you something honest. I can be a little unsure around new men at first. I just need a moment, a kind voice, maybe a treat or two, and then I realise… oh! You’re a friend. I do warm up—I promise.

I’m also not so good with livestock. I don’t mean any harm… I just get very enthusiastic about my “investigations.” So probably best I admire sheep from a respectful distance.

Can I tell you why I’m here?

I used to live with another dog who was older and preferred quiet naps and gentle days. I tried to show them how fun life could be… I bounced, I played, I invited them to zoom with me… but I think I might have been a bit too fun. One day, I had to leave.

I still don’t really understand what I did wrong. I was just trying to be a good ‘furend’. I just wanted to play. I just wanted to love.

But here’s the thing about me:
My heart? Still wide open. Still hopeful. Still ready.

What I need is someone who understands dogs like me—Pointers. We’re not “too much”… we’re just full of life. We thrive when we get to run, explore, sniff, learn, and then come home to collapse in a happy, wiggly heap by your side.

Give me exercise, give me purpose, give me affection… and I will give you everything.

I’ll make you laugh with my goofy energy.
I’ll nudge your hand when you’re feeling low.
I’ll look at you like you hung the moon (even if you just filled my food bowl).

I don’t need perfect. I just need my pawson. My family. Someone who sees me and says,
“Logan, you’re not too much… you’re just right.”
