🐾 Hi there, I’m Rufus! 🐾

Are you ready to meet your new best friend? That’s me! I’m Rufus, a one-year-old bundle of love, wagging tails, and endless fun. I’m a Pointer-Collie cross, which means I’ve got the smarts, the speed, and the heart to keep up with all your adventures (and maybe steal a few cuddles along the way).

I had the best start in life with another doggy buddy, so I really get along well with other dogs—playdates? Yes, please! Sadly, my furry best friend crossed the rainbow bridge, and now I’m on the lookout for a new companion and a new family to fill that spot in my heart.

I’m good with older children, and I’m super gentle with them—perfect for a game of fetch or some cozy sofa snuggles. I’m also house-trained (yep, I know where to go!) and whistle-trained (just one whistle and I’ll come running faster than you can say “good boy!”).

Oh, and let’s talk about my special talent: bird-chasing! 🐦 Don’t worry, I’m not out to catch them—I just love the thrill of the chase. It keeps me on my toes (and keeps you entertained, too).

My previous pawrents made the hardest decision ever to let me go because of personal circumstances. I know they love me dearly, but now I’m ready for my next chapter—a forever home filled with love, belly rubs, and maybe a treat or two (okay, maybe three).

If you’ve got room in your heart (and your home) for a loyal, playful, and downright adorable buddy, I promise I’ll be the best friend you didn’t know you were missing.  I’ll be the one with the waggiest tail and the biggest smile and the loving face.

I am full and our charity would request that anyone interested in me would have to sign a neutering agreement and the cost for which would be deducted from the donation.  I have a clear bill of health.  I hope you choose me and I am a lovely boy!
