Hello… I’m Handsome Simba 🐾

I might be just a young lad of about a year old, but I’ve already got a heart big enough to fill a castle! I recently came into the care of the charity because my elderly owner sadly suffered from ill health and could no longer look after me. It was a sad turn of events, but I’m keeping my tail wagging high because I know my perfect family is out there somewhere.

Because I’ve already spent my short life living inside a proper home environment, I’m a fully domesticated boy. That means I already know all about household day-to-day life – no scary vacuum cleaners or clattering pots and pans are going to faze me!

I am a Pointer/Labrador cross, which basically means you get the best of both worlds: the elegance and intelligence of a Pointer, mixed with the ultimate “love everyone” sunshine energy of a Labrador.

Being a Pointer/Lab Cross means:

✨ I have a master’s degree in cuddles and a gentle nature that steals hearts in seconds.

✨ I absolutely adore humans and will happily act as your personal velcro dog, staying as close to you as possible!

✨ I’m a clever boy who already walks beautifully on the lead, behaves like an absolute gentleman at the vet, and travels like a dream in the car.

I’m currently staying in a lovely sanctuary in Spain while I wait for you. The exercise area here is great, and the volunteers say my recall when they call me is fantastic – though I haven’t tried it in the big wide world outside yet! I also love meeting new people so much that I treat every stranger like a best friend I just haven’t met yet.

I’ve just had my passport, vaccinations, and all my blood tests done (and they came back perfect, by the way!). Next week, I’m off to have my little “snip” operation, and then by June 4th, my bags will be packed and I’ll be 100% ready to jump right into your arms.

I’m just a happy, medium-sized 22kg bundle of joy waiting for a home where I will be truly cherished and included in every family adventure. I promise to be the one who greets you like a hero every time you walk through the front door.
