🐾 Hey there… I’m Woody! 🌿

If you’ve been following my journey, you might remember me! My story began on the island of Rhodes, where my brave mum, Maria, was rescued while pregnant with me and my siblings. We were brought to safety by our wonderful rescuers, Shirley and Paul, and looked after by Lorna at her sanctuary until we were ready to travel.

On 15 July, my brother Lanson (now Wesley) and I made the big journey over to the UK! Wesley joined his forever family just a couple of days later and is already settling in amazingly after his first week. Now it’s my turn to find my happy ever after!

Right now, I’m living in Southsea with my amazing foster family—Shirley and Paul! They’ve kept my mum Maria and my siblings Maisy and Mateus (plus their two lab crosses, Mork and Mindy). While they’d love to keep us all, there’s just not enough room at the inn! Mum Maria is finally catching up on three years of sleep, smiling, and wagging her tail constantly.

Getting to Know Me & My Family Progress

• The Sweetest Genes: My mum and siblings Maisy and Mateus are proving just how incredible this family line is. In less than two months, the pack in Southsea are all house-trained, walking nicely on the lead, coming when called, and sitting politely for treats! There is every reason to know I’ll follow right in their pawsteps.

• Super Affectionate: Just like the rest of my family, I am a total sweetheart. I love people, adore children, and get along brilliantly with other dogs.

• Fun & Social: Having other dogs around keeps me happy and confident. I love games and play, but I’m just as eager to cuddle up close once the excitement winds down.

• Puppy Progress: I’m a young, clever boy soaking up home life in the UK. I’m looking for a kind family who will continue my training, show me the world, and guide me as I grow into a fantastic adult dog.
