Maia is a cross and larger than many pointers. She is very affectionate with a very pleasant nature. She has recall when she is not too engrossed in play. She is good with all the other dogs she has met and tries to instigate play with them. She is very intelligent. She is still a puppy so still learning but wants to please. She will make someone a super companion and although would like a live in playmate would also be happy to be an only dog. Although until she is settled she worries about being left she soon overcomes this and is happy to be crated for short periods. Although she is interested in animals and birds she hasn’t a very high prey drive. When she met cattle she thought they were large dogs that she thought might play with her.
