Hi there! I’m Chester, and I’m a very special little chap with a big heart, and I am from Spain!

Life hasn’t always been easy for me, though. I went through some tough times with a very unkind human who didn’t treat me well. I was found with injuries to my toe and deep wounds on my back. But don’t worry, my amazing rescue team took me in, helped me heal, and introduced me to my best pal, Blanca. She’s helped me so much, and now, I’m not scared anymore!

I’m a big boy with a huge heart, and I’m looking for my forever home! I dream of a big, open space where I can stretch my legs, run, play, and just enjoy the great outdoors—lots of exercise makes me a happy pup! I’ve been through a lot, so I need a kind human who’s patient, loving, and understands what it’s like to help a rescue like me.  I need a bit of extra comfort if I hear a sudden noise or if a bike was to go whizzing past me but I have heard that a lot of dogs are like me with those things.  My foster Dad noticed that I got startled out and about the other day by a garden strimer so I just tried to hide my head in some shubbery as I thought it was a bit less scary for me…

I love to play! I could be your one and only dog, or if you have a confident, sassy female dog, we might just make the perfect team.

I am good on the lead and I do not really pull. One thing though—I’d prefer not to share my home with small furries or cats. They’re just not my style.

If you’ve got the experience, the love, and a bit of patience, I promise I’ll be the most loyal, snuggly, and fun companion you could ask for!

I have got tons of love to give, and my loyalty is pretty much off the charts! In fact, I’m a pro at being ‘super loyal.’

Now that I’ve healed up so well, I think it’s my time to find a family that will make me feel safe and loved. Could you be my special ‘peeps’? I sure hope so! Let’s make lots of happy memories together! Coz I am Pawsome! 🐾💙

Chester has been living with his foster family in Combe Martin North Devon and he has built up quite the fan club with the locals there!  Shop owners see Chester coming, leave their work and go out to meet him for a cuddle or to give him a special ice cream or treat…
