Hi there, I’m Winston!

I’m a 13-month-old pointer mix with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life! My story’s a bit of a mystery, but what I do know is that I’m ready for a fresh start. My last family had to say goodbye, and I’ve been looking for my forever home ever since.

Let me tell you a bit about me! I’m super friendly with people and dogs (sometimes a little *too* friendly—I’m working on my manners!). I love exploring, sniffing, and zooming around when I get the chance. I haven’t quite figured out this whole “toy” thing yet, but I do enjoy food puzzles and treats… yum! Clicker training is new to me, and while my attention span is a bit short, I’m trying really hard—promise!

I’m still learning basic stuff like sitting, coming when called, and paying attention. Eye contact? Yeah, I’m working on that too. But I’ve got so much potential with the right person guiding me! I need a home where someone has experience with my breed (or energetic dogs like me) and can help me learn while giving me plenty of positive outlets for my energy. An active, working home would be perfect for a bouncy boy like me!

I’ve lived with kids before, so I could do well with older teenagers who understand my energy.  With the right introductions, I could be a great buddy for the right furry sibling too. I just need a patient, loving human who has time to help me become my very best self.
