I’m four years old and have already lived a lifetime of ups and downs. I started out as a puppy full of hope, dreaming of cuddles, kindness, and a family to call my own. But that’s not how my story began. I was taken… and then tossed aside like I didn’t matter. Left on the streets of Turkey to fend for myself.

Let me tell you something…

The streets? Not fun.

Not safe.

Very scary.

In Turkey, dogs like me aren’t just ignored – we’re in danger. There’s so much cruelty. If we’re spotted by government officials, we’re taken away forever… and sometimes, something even worse happens. So I got really, *really* good at hiding. I became invisible. I had to learn to be quiet, to disappear, to move fast and sleep with one eye open. I didn’t understand what I’d done wrong. I had so much love to give, and no one to give it to.

But then… angels appeared. A rescue team found me, scooped me up, and told me I was safe. It was the first time in a long time I felt the warmth of gentle hands and kind eyes. I was brought to a loving foster home, where I’ve been learning what it means to *trust,* to *relax,* and to be *loved.*

And you know what? I’m still that same loving girl I always wanted to be. I’m kind, cuddly, and would make the most wonderful family dog. I’ve blossomed into a joyful, affectionate soul with a tail that wags just because I see your face. I adore people, belly rubs, and soft places to nap. I’ve been through a lot – but I’ve never let it harden my heart.

I do have one little quirk: *I really, really love my food!* If I share a home with another dog (which I’m totally open to!), I’d prefer to be fed separately. It’s not that I’m not friendly—it’s just that food is *precious* to me after everything I’ve been through, and I get a bit worried someone else might try to take it away. But after meals? I’m back to waggy tails and happy smiles.

I’m still holding on to hope that my forever home is out there. Somewhere I can be safe, cherished, and finally stop looking over my shoulder.
