🌼 Chula: My Journey to a Final Landing Spot ❤️

Hi everyone, it’s Chula! I’m an 8-year-old English Pointer, and I am looking for the most important thing in the world: my final, permanent home.

I have been through so much lately losing my lifelong person to a medical crisis and being moved overnight was a lot for my heart to take. But thanks to the “foster magic” I’ve found in Shropshire, I am ready to be someone’s world again. My foster family is going overseas very soon, so I am looking for my forever landing spot right now. We want my next move to be my last!

✨ The Real Me: An Easy, Loving Companion

My fosterers describe me as a very easy girl to have around the house. I am a “low-maintenance” sweetheart who just wants to be near you.

* Sofa Queen: I am a dream indoors. I love to chill on the sofa and I am very affectionate and ’ll be your most loyal shadow.

* Garden Adventures: I am wonderful at amusing myself in the garden! I love to spend my time sniffing around for “bits and bobs” or enjoying a scatter feed with my nose to the floor.

* The “Pointer Lean”: I’ll lean my whole weight against you just to let you know you’re loved.

* Classic Pointer Zoomies: While I’m a total couch potato inside, I’ve found my “sprint” again! I love to do high-speed laps in the garden just for the joy of it.

* The Explorer: My nose is always to the floor! I love a brisk daily walk (anywhere from 45 mins to 3 hours) on a retractable lead. I don’t care much for toys or balls the world of smells is much more exciting to me!

🏡 Why I Need a Very Specific Home

I have been through a lot lately, losing my lifelong person and my home overnight. Because of a difficult past before my rescue where I was unable to escape other dogs these recent changes have made me feel vulnerable again. To keep my life stress-free and happy, I need to be the only pet in the home.

My Dream “Landing Spot”

We are looking for a special person who understands that I’ve been through a lot of trauma and just needs a constant, safe place to stay for the rest of my days.

* Rural or Semi-Rural: I am not a city girl. Urban settings overwhelm me; I need a quiet life in a village or the countryside.

* Only Dog Status: I can be hit-and-miss with other dogs when I’m out, so to keep my life stress-free, I need to be your one-and-only star.

* A Secure Garden: This is a must so I can safely potter around and have my daily sprints.

* Car Travels: I’m not a fan of the back seat (it makes me a bit worried), but I’ve discovered that I settle much better if I have a secure spot in the boot.

* Lead Life: Because I’m a Pointer and love to follow my nose, I need to stay on-lead during our walks.

* Companionship: Ideally, a home with a retired couple or someone who works from home, where I can be the center of your world.

Important Information

I am 21kg of pure love. My foster parents have learned so much about me over the last few weeks and they will share all the information you need to make sure we are the perfect match. You are more than welcome to come to Shropshire to meet me, but please don’t wait we don’t have much time.

I come with the lifelong backup of PRS, so you’ll always have support. I just need a person to call my own so I can finally stop worrying and start living my “Happy Ever After.”
