Hi there… my name is Kiara, and if I could, I’d sit beside you right now, gently lay my head on your lap, and tell you the story of how I got lost—and found.

Not too long ago, I was wandering aimlessly under a burning sun, my paws blistered from the scorching ground, my body weak from thirst. I don’t remember how long I was alone… the days blurred together in the heat and silence. I kept walking, hoping for a familiar scent, a kind face… anything. My legs finally gave out in a place called La Huella-Blanca. That’s where my old story ended—and my new one began.

They say I was dazed, over exhausted, and dangerously dehydrated when they found me. But I was still wagging my tail, just a little… because somehow, deep inside, I knew kindness had arrived.

I’m 1.5 years old, a German Pointer, and I’ve been told I’m everything my breed is known for—loyal, loving, and endlessly affectionate. Since arriving at my foster home, I haven’t stopped wagging my tail. Honestly, I can’t help it. My foster family gave me something I didn’t know I was missing: safety, warmth, and soft hands that only ever reach for me with love.

I’m house-trained now (yes, I’m a very good girl!) and I adore my little garden, but what I love more than anything is being curled up inside the home, close to someone who sees me, really sees me. My heart is sweet and gentle, my spirit calm and kind—I’m not one for drama, just cuddles, cozy naps, and following you around the house like a fluffy shadow.

They tell me I’m a docile soul, and I suppose that’s true… but I’m also ready for joy. I’ve discovered how fun toys are (squeaky ones are weird and amazing!), I’ve become a champion snuggler, and I even do a little happy dance when you say my name.

Now I wait, every day, hoping the next chapter is the one where I get to stay. I don’t need much—just a safe, kind home, where I can finally rest without fear. Where I can love you with every part of my wagging, hopeful heart.

All I ask is for a place to belong. A hand to hold. A sofa to share. A forever to call mine.
