About Hattie

Hattie  is now in her new home on the edge of the New Forest

She loves cuddles and fuss. Hattie get excited going out for walks with her new Mum, Dad and Brother

Hattie has met our grandchildren and enjoyed the cuddles she had from them.

She is starting to show her fun playful side, with her new brother.

Hattie loves to run around the garden exploring and chasing balls.

Hattie is quite a shy girl, who was found wandering the streets and severely underweight.  After taking many weeks of gently coaxing her and building trust, she is developing nicely in her current foster home.  She is a little boisterous in her play, but she does appear to be fairly sociable with other dogs, and is quite a good weight now.

She has a tendency to bark at cats, so at this point we are not sure if if this is because she is curious, or does not like them.   Due to her shyness, we would not recommend being in a home with children, or at least small children, as she may feel overwhelmed with lots of energy around her.

Hattie, like all pointers, is a very loving dog, once she has built trust, so she would be best suited in a home, with no small children, and in an environment where her owners can take time to develop her trust in them and the world around her.
