“Hey there, hoomans! I’m Brava, and oh wow, do I have a tale to tell.”

I was born under the golden Greek sun, on the breathtaking island of Santorini. But life wasn’t all sunshine and wagging tails for me. I was abandoned, treated poorly, and left to fend for myself—until I found safety at the SAWA shelter, run by two incredible hoomans, Christina and Dave. Just when I thought life couldn’t get more unpredictable, the ground beneath my paws started to shake. And no, not the fun, zoomie kind of shake—the real, earth-rumbling, heart-pounding kind. Chaos took over, and my island home was no longer safe. But then, something incredible happened. Kind-hearted humans from all over the world came together to rescue me and my pals. Brava, Foxtrot, and I made a long journey to Rhodes, where things are a little calmer now—but my story isn’t finished yet. You see, there’s one last chapter left to write: finding my forever family.

Why I’m Kind of a Big Deal

🐾 I’m a six-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) with 28 kilos of pure love, loyalty, and just the right amount of goofy.

🐾 I’m great with other dogs—playdates? Yes, please!

🐾 Adventure is my middle name! I’ve got that classic GSP energy—I love sniffing, zooming, and exploring.

🐾 But don’t let my athletic build fool you—I’m also a professional cuddle bug. Got a sofa? I’ll be on it. Got a lap? I’ll try to fit on it.  I really LOVE people and cuddles!

🐾 My heart is as big as my paws, and I’m just waiting for someone to fill it with love.

🏡 A family who knows and loves pointers—because let’s be real, we’re a special mix of smart, energetic, and wonderfully silly.

🏃‍♂️ An active home where I can **run, explore, and be my adventurous self.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Adults or older kids—I’m a gentle soul, but I might be a bit much for tiny hoomans.

💙 A family who wants a true companion—I’m not the kind of dog who likes to be left out. I want to be by your side, through all of life’s ups and downs.
