About Meet Bravo – A Survivor with a Heart as Big as His Paws!

“Hello, world. I’m Bravo. And oh boy, do I have a story to tell.”

I was born under the warm Greek sun, on the stunning island of Santorini, I was abandoned and treated very badly and ended up in the SAWA shelter that is run by a lovely husband and wife team called Christina and Dave —a place of beauty, yes, but also of chaos. You see, things started shaking. And I don’t mean the excited tail-wagging kind of shaking—I mean the ground beneath my paws rumbling, the air filled with uncertainty, and then… the volcano woke up. Suddenly, my island home was no longer safe. But then, something amazing happened. Kind-hearted hoomans, from all over, came together to help dogs like me get to safety and we are now safer in Rhodes. Communications and logistics were quite challenging and we were very anxious. But with good charity teams coming together and love and determination, I left Santorini with my pals, Brava and Foxtrot, on a journey to a new beginning. Now, here I am, looking for my forever family.

Why I’m Kind of a Big Deal

🐾 I’m a big, strong German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) with muscles for days and a heart that could fit a whole family’s worth of love.

🐾 I’ve got the classic GSP energy—I love adventures, sniffing out fun, and getting my zoomies in.

🐾 Cuddles? Oh, I’m a total softie when it comes to my hoomans. If you’ve got a sofa (or a lap, preferably a large one), I’m there. I have been described as a ladies man… I love people and would grow to adore my special hooman very quickly.

🐾 I’m fine with other dogs, but honestly? I’d be just as happy as your one and only—a king of the castle, soaking up all the attention.

What My Perfect Home Looks Like

🏡 A family with experience in pointers (especially GSPs)—because let’s be real, we’re a special breed with a lot of love and a little bit of mischief!

🏃‍♂️ An active home where I can stretch my legs, explore, and feel like the athlete I was born to be.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Adults or older kids—I’m a gentle soul, but my size might be a little too much for the tiny hoomans.

💙 A family who will let me be part of their everyday life—because I don’t do well being left out. I want to be with you, through thick and thin.

I know I survived the Santorini crisis because I’m ready to be your loyal buddy. Could you be the hero of my next chapter?
