About Peter
Peter is an orange & white male Pointer cross who is at least 5 years old, he is available for adoption and is already in the UK. Rescued from a gypsy camp in Greece, where sadly the children used to throw stones at him and the adults used to put cigarettes out on him! He was a nervous boy initially and spent some time in kennels rehabilitating before travelling to the UK. After arriving in the UK in 2020 via a private adoption, which sadly for Peter has not worked out, so we have agreed to try and find him a new home. He is a lovely boy and very easy going in the house. Has lived with another dog with no issues, but we feel he would be better suited as an only dog. He can be very strong on the lead and has displayed some reactivity towards other dogs outside of the home, in experienced hands with time and patience this could be rectified. Would ideally suit a quiet home environment in a fairly rural setting with a large garden to enjoy, and short local walks where he doesn’t have to experience busy noisy roads, traffic, joggers and lots of dogs. He is a very obedient dog and quite easy to train. He has great recall in a secure area.
