Hello there, lovely hooman. My name is Pinta, and yes—I’m the one with the soulful eyes and the waggy tail that hasn’t given up hope.

I wasn’t always here, waiting behind a kennel door. Once, I had a “job” as a hunting dog. I gave it my all—nose to the ground, heart on my sleeve. I was loyal, loving, and I tried so hard to be good. But when I wasn’t needed anymore, the man I trusted drove me to the pound and left me behind and never even looked back.

I didn’t understand. I still don’t.
I waited. I cried a little (okay, maybe a lot).
And then I decided: maybe there is still some hope for me and this doesn’t have to be the end for me.

Because, you see, I still have so much love to give—oodles of it. The kind of love that sticks by you through thick and thin, that wiggles with joy when you come home, that curls up next to you on cold nights and makes you feel like the most important person in the world. That’s the kind of girl I am.

I’m dreaming of a kind soul (or souls!) who will see me not as a tool, but as a family member. Someone who wants to share cuddles, belly rubs, slow strolls and silly zoomies. Oh, and car rides? Count me in! Adventures? Even better! I’m the loyal co-pilot you’ve been looking for.

Now, we *do* need to talk about cats.
I’ll be honest—I’m not a fan.
They walk around like they own the place, knock things off shelves just for fun, and stare at you like *you’re* the weirdo. I mean… what even *are* they?
I see one and my brain goes full spaghetti.
So, for everyone’s safety and dignity (especially the cats’), I’d do best in a cat-free castle.

I might be a little shy at first—I’ve been hurt before—but once I know you’re safe, my tail won’t stop wagging and my heart will be all yours.
