Hello, I’m Snoop!

I never thought I’d be here, looking for a new home. Life can be full of unexpected turns, and even though my dad loved me with all his heart, he knew I needed more than he could give. After a sad family bereavement, things have changed at home, and his heart was broken having to let me go. But he’s made the hardest choice for my sake—because I deserve a family who can give me the care, comfort, and love I need now more than ever.

You see, I’m not just any dog—I’m an 8-year-old Pointer with a heart full of love and loyalty. But I also have some struggles of my own. I have bad arthritis and have even needed surgery on my spine. Some days are harder than others, but that hasn’t dimmed my gentle, sweet nature. My foster mum says I’m a truly special boy—loving, kind, and as soft as they come. I just want to snuggle close, feel safe, and be surrounded by warmth and affection but I can run around still, I just need monitoring when I do.

I dream of a quiet, peaceful home where I can rest my tired bones and be loved for the beautiful soul that I am. The charity has promised to help towards supporting my arthritis treatment, so my new family won’t have to face that burden alone. All I need is someone who understands that I still have so much love to give—I just need a little extra help along the way.

I’ve always been a good boy. I’m house-trained, I respond to a whistle, and I get along wonderfully with children and even cats (though they do like to keep me on my toes!). I grew up surrounded by love with my best friends, Jager and Kashmir, and while we wanted to stay together forever if we could, it was sadly not possible—we all needed to find homes where we’re truly cherished.

This isn’t goodbye—it’s a hopeful new beginning. I know my perfect family is out there, ready to give me the comfort and love I need. Could that special someone be you?
